Jeff & Jenny Kozlowski
Wisconsin Big Cat Rescue Car Show
We are going to talk with Jeff about the recent sightings of a "Big Cat" like creature in the Milwaukee area.
Wisconsin Big Cat Rescue is a safe place and a comfortable home for abused, neglected, and unwanted big cats and also to educate the public about these extraordinary animals and the actions that necessitate the need for Wisconsin Big Cat Rescue & Educational Center.
Currently, there are no laws to protect lions, tigers and leopards from becoming family pets, used a stage props or used in children’s petting zoos. These animals are purchased when they are cubs where they are under tremendous stress with people trying to tame them for house hold pets and/or are penned up for kids to pet them. The additional tragedy is that when the animal becomes too large to manage or become sick they are released into the wild – or worse – in the urban areas. Many of them die diseased or destroyed.
It was Jeff and Jenny’s desire to rescue them and give them a place to grow old peacefully. Currently they have over 30 big cats in their care.
Their goal is to build a Big Cat Rescue Educational Center that gives these cats a chance at a peaceful and happy life, a chance for the public to learn about them, and protects them from the abuse that they endure elsewhere in captivity. This rescue is good for the community, its families, and the cats, and is federally licensed.
The rescue is open to the public and run on "Strictly Donations". The rescue does not receive any state, federal, or local funding; it functions entirely on its admission fees, donations, sponsorships, and volunteer work.

Elm Grove's Cruisin’ the Grove
This will be the 3rd year for this fast growing car and motorcycle show.
It’s growing because of the great people who organize the show like Dan. Its setting is using a beautiful street in downtown Elm Grove where it’s completely blocked off allowing classics, hot rods, customs and motorcycles to park. And it gives easy access for pedestrians to spend the day looking at the vehicles, visit with friends, go shopping and dine in several specialty restaurants.
|Milwaukee Heat Youth Wheelchair Basketball team
The winning spirit of the Milwaukee Heat Youth Wheelchair Basketball team will be there helping the many volunteers. In fact, it’s the youth that do the judging for this show.
You can see last year's show by going to Richie's Photos.
Music will be provided by Captn Bob and Arlo from Wisconsin Hot Rod Radio. They have a radio program here in the Milwaukee area with a listening audience that spans the globe.
|The judging is done by well informed youths who were given lessons on what to look for when judging a car or motorcycle.
Here are the event details:
Downtown Elm Grove, Watertown Plank Road, Elm Grove, WI (the street is block off)
